DistrustIf you are tired of watching Asian horror movies starring girls with a long hair and bloody face, then you should watch the trailer of Distrust Hell. As the first film of Director Lee Yong-Ju, he promises no less than a tale of biting fear, lethal mania and possession. The lead star is no less than the Nam Sang-Mi, a rising Korean star whose fan base has grown after taking on romantic comedy and action films. The tandem of director Yong-Ju and actress Sang-Mi is bound to make its mark on the genre Asians have already perfected—horror.

The story begins when a 14-year old girl named So-Jin gets lost for an inexplicable reason. This leaves her mother utterly helpless and instead prays as fervently as ever. Soon after, So-Jin’s sister, Hee-Jin, arrives from college and plans to get to the bottom of the situation. With Tae-Hwan, the police involved in the case, they look for clues as to the whereabouts of So-Jin. They find a letter penned by Jung-Mi, So-Jin’s friend who has recently died because of jumping from a building. Apparently, So-Jin was possessed by Jung-Mi’s body. Soon, a security guard in the apartment where the family stays dies—leaving a much more confused Hee-Jin and Tae-Hwan.

Where did So-Jin go? Why did Jung-Mi jump off a building? Watch this trailer, with its perfect musical score, and keep on guessing!

The release of Distrust Hell for the Korean audience is set next month.
