Thailand Production Company Oriental Eyes started working on “Number 9” late September and is now set for 2010 release.
The movie also know as ’9 Wat’ tells the story of a man name Nat whose quest is to correct his entire past mistake in exactly seven days by visitung 9 temples. Nat is also an architect who unwillingly takes on this journey together with his girlfriend. The couples are accompanied by Sujitto, a young monk who takes care of the Tripitaka house as well.
Each with a different purpose in mind, they later discovered that there is more reason behind this trip. As the journey progress, they learn that more horrifying acts get revealed.
Number 9 is a Saranyoo Jiralak film, starring James Mackie and “Noon” Siraphun Wattanajinda. Noon had to dye her hair to a blonde white for her role which surprise everyone especially her mother.
“When I got home she was shocked and she only said 3 things to me, why this color? How are you going to live with it? Are you going to wear a hat 24/7? Then she didn’t talk to me again for the whole day (laughs)” Her professor was surprised as well “My professor at the university who is from overseas and didn’t know that I’m an actress actually didn’t even recognized me when I walked in after I got my hair done” **
