Protégé De La Noir is about a movie whose genre is a combination of Action, Comedy, Fantasy and Martial Arts. It is about two girls with contrasting worlds and personalities who had an accidental meeting who eventually became buddies. Guillian Chang who played the role of Guillian, is an aspiring psychologist who unfortunately has been given a not so beautiful name. Because of this, any person who calls her by it makes her transform into a “kungfu dynamo. (A dynamo is a machine which converts mechanical energy to electric current.} Conversely, Charlene, a wacky lady who believes that she has supernatural powers; being an alien; in her home world,”CG TELETUBBIES,” They were taken to a strange place where they met Rose Noire played by Teresa Mo, who became a delusional schizo who hated men thereby castrating anyone that she sees. In the story needs someone to replace her this time heading for a good light.
Her mansion is similar to that of a fantasy land. It has secret passages, roller coasters rides with a secret dungeon where the two girls became trapped together with a man who luckily was spared of castration because he looks like the lover of Rose, Robin. The two girls in the story became intimidated by Rose’s martial arts skills which made them to send the girls away, however, after a heavy fight with Chinese triads and some revelations, the two girls changed their minds and became protégé of Rose Noir.
Actually this movie is said to be a “cinematic institution” It is because many movies had been already shown in the early days of 1966, with a title “The Spy With My Face” and the rest was history. However this time, the movie has a new twist so called” twins vitality due to the combination of the two girls in the story. On the other hand, the weird but funny trances of Charlene will make even the most problematic person in this world to laugh to the hilt. Likewise, the antics of Guillan though they may be a “copy cat “of Jacky Chan’s martial arts moves, proved to be a sure bunch of comic and unstoppable laughter for the viewers.
