Review:
I thought this is one of those Blair Witch Project genre type of horror movie but as the story progresses I found out it was far different and well, I must admit much better. I love how the story was actually connected and how they actually will make the viewers ask themselves if this movie was true especially since the entire movie was shot out of a DV camera.
At first I find the series of events that was shown unrelated and the slow pace of the movie started to annoy me and if it hadn’t been for the fact that I have paid to watch the movie I would have gone and turned the movie off but as the movie progresses it made me curious and wanted to find out as to what is the connection of the mysterious Junko Ishii with all the bizarre things that was happening and I must admit I truly admire how they were able to connect the series of events from the journalist himself, to the movie actress, to the clairvoyant girl and to the mystery that once lurks a submerged village called Shimokage. You will not see gore stuffs and scary ghost with long black hair but what’s shown on the footage is enough to spook you and give you goose bumps.
