US Distributor Warner Home Video announce yesterday that Ninja Assassin is scheduled to be released on DVD March 16, 2010. Starring Korean actor and singing sensation Rain, the movie is a martial Arts and Hard Action film directed by James McTeigue
In this movie Rain portrayed a character name Raizo, an orphan raised by the Ozunu clan to become a very deadly assassin. He then turned his back on them after they heartlessly murdered the only one he loved. Mika Coretti (played by Naomie Harris) is a European Police agent who suspect that the clan is responsible for the unexplained killings teamed up with Raizo to defeat the Ninja Assassins.
Ninja Assassin was released in the US on November 25, 2009. This is Rain’s first major film role outside Korea, though he previously appeared in another movie called “Speed Racer”. This is the second time the actor collaborated with James Mcteigue.
According to Digital Bits, the DVD will be released in both Regular and Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital copy Combo Pack.
