The dynamic collaboration of Wilson Yip and Donnie Yen reunite again for the strident action film, “Flash Point” said to be the most brilliant and best choreographed fight scenes Flash Point is based on the story of cops and robbers chasing saga genre. Donnie Yen plays a cop named Jun who tried to put a triad gang behind bars. In order to do his dangerous job of infiltrating the infamous buns of hooligans, he sent a spy by the name of Wilson, to help him capture the three brothers, as the infiltration deepened; the, the identity of the spy was exposed. This resulted in the ruthless revenge of Tony, the gang leader of the syndicate. What will happen to the Deep Penetration Agent? Will he be able to get out of the dangerous forces with his flesh still intact?
Flash Point in my own perception, failed to amaze me with the inadequate presentation of complex emotions, coupled with narrative dexterity Also, it minimized too much story telling, the characters’ history of which I sincerely believe was deemed necessary to let us to have a clear and vivid picture of how the story will begin and end at the same time. On the other hand, the quality of the movie of being straightforward in its cinematic attack and approach, did not add an appealing image to my critical mind of analytic viewing. Moreover, I can say that the movie has no major difference in as far as the storyline was concerned. In other words, it is a dose of crack. Nevertheless, for those who loved action to the hilt, this movie will definitely satisfy your action-filled imagination. There is nothing which captured my interest while watching the film because aside from the simplicity of the story, did not possess narrative cleverness as a whole.
The situations on the film were much cluttered with stash of characters that played no essential role in the catalytic atmosphere of the action picture. It also seemed that the lead actor Donnie Yen making the film less creative and least credible at that. In reality, witnesses of a crime must be provided with utmost security protection to ensure their safety was not clearly emphasized in the movie. Nevertheless, the viewers must see the exciting martial arts fighting routine. Overall, this is highly recommended
