This is the latest from Chao Feng who also helmed Royal Tattoo, a comedy movie that reinterpret a a plot set during the Qing Dynasty about a royal treasure and a map that can only be found in someone’s body as a tattoo. The movie was released in 2009 that also includes Liu Hua.

The Island also features other know Chinese actors and actresses such as Sek Tian-Lung, Yung Cheung and Lam Suet. Mr. Suet is a veteran actor known for his portrayal in other great movies such as Full Time Killer, Tsui Hark’s Vampire Hunter, PTU, One Night in Mongkok, Kung-Fu Hustle, Election 2, Dog Bite Dog, Exiled, The Storm Warriors, The Legend is Born-Ip Man, and Triple Tap.

Based on a comic series created by Park Heung-yong, the movie was directed by Lee Jon-ik who is also responsible for producing the third most watched film in Korean box office The King and the Clown. The movie stars Hwang Jung-Min, an actor known for portraying a role in notable film such as A Man Who Was Superman and You are My Sunshine plays as a blind swordman during the 1592 Cho Seun era. He is to eliminate an old ally named Lee Mong-Hak (Cha Seung-Won), an impetuous young politician who raised his own army to overthrow the government. Other cast includes Baek Seong-Hyeon and Han Ji-Hye (East of Eden KTV series)

Starring Sin Kyeong-seon, Yoon E-na (2007 Drama Series Princess Hour), Jeon In-geol, Lee Hwa-jung, Hyeon Tae-ho, and Shin So-yul (The Day Before, Hello My Love, Shadows in the Palace). The movie (from Hancinema) centers around an abandoned house that is suspected to be haunted. In 42 years, six people have disappeared, eight people have died and eleven murdered. Because of this everyone is afraid to step foot inside fearing there is also a ghost that lurks into its hallway. But three home society members and three filmmakers seems to be up to the challenge of trying to find out what really is the truth behind the house and spend their day inside, however they disappeared and the only thing they left behind is a video camera that tells more than what everyone fears.

This is Lee Cheol-has first venture into filming horror, he was an assistant director for 2000 Drama Il Mare and helmed the 2006 Love Me Not. Actor Sin Kyeong seon and Jeon In-geol were both cast in 71-Into the Fire released in 2009.

The movie is set in a virtual desert, a part of an immerse gaming environment where players can battle out against gigantic monsters. The three female warriors accept the challenge, armed with deadly weapons they roam the barren land to fight numerous ‘sunakujira’. Just when they thought the game is over, a more bigger threat appears, this time its the ‘Madara Sunakujira’. Will they be able to stop it?

Well Go USA Studio did the right thing in picking this one up. Details on the DVD includes Surround Sound, in Widescreen format. It is slated for October 19, 2010 release.

To prove that Rehman is the mastermind behind all this, she needs the help she can especially from Dicky. There is one problem though, Dicky suffers from a short term memories syndrome which he can only remembers a random sequence of events. Not only that it is not easy to uncover the truth, she must also try to save herself.

Donnie Yen

The movie will star renown actor Donnie Yen as a killer turned fugitive who undergoes changes after he is captured. Donnie will be trading fist with another well known actor Takeshi Kaneshiro who is known for his role in House of Flying Daggers. According to a news obtain from Yahoo webiste, after an impressive acting in The Warlords, Peter thought that Takeshi fits the role of the constable who captured the fugitive. The idea of working alongside DY is what also interest Mr. Kanishero. This mark the first time the two will be working together in a project, Takeshi will be doing some fighting training before the shooting begins.

The title of the film is still undecided, the rights to the original belongs to Celestial Pictures and since an agreement had been establish between the company and Peter long time partner Teddy Chan, he would not be able to use the same title. Although this would be a retelling, the director will create a more bloodier with action pack Martial Arts fight scenes.
